The purpose of your résumé is to get you in the door. It’s not a personal promo flyer! It should convey 3 things:

1) You’re QUALIFIED
2) You’re EXPERIENCED
3) You’re EDUCATED

These three things should provoke curiosity and initiate an interview.

In order to be respected and treated as a professional, one must display a certain level of competence.

One definition of “Competency” can be described as gaining confidence and respect with others by displaying adequate interpersonal and professional skills
-must be able to have balance with gifts and talents while serving people.

If your incompetent, but acts as if you know how to handle and conduct yourself- its a problem & termination is near.
